IC Certification

IC is short for Industry Canada Industry Canada , as a government agency responsible for electrical and electronic products to enter the Canadian market and certification services. Responsible products broadly divided into: radio and television equipment, information technology equipment, radio equipment, telecommunications equipment, ISM equipment.
    FCC with the United States similar, IC restrictions currently do only on electromagnetic interference.

Authentication:
    It can be self-validation, Certification certification in two ways.
    IC ID: CN (Company Number, up to 6) + UPN (Unique Product Number, up to eight).

ID Application Notes:
    1, there must be representative of the address information in Canada.
    2, the label must contain the following information (manufacturer's name or trademark, model name, IC ID number).
    IC certification standards:
    IC certification standards consistent with the FCC, IC restrictions currently do only on electromagnetic interference.
    ICES-001 simulation equipment: Industrial, Scientific and Medical Radio Frequency Generators
    ICES-003 digital terminal equipment: Interference-Causing Equipment Standards-Digital Apparatus, as ICES003: ITE: office products and computer peripheral equipment.
    IC RSS Series transmitting and receiving device low-power wireless RF products. Such as: RSS 210, Application: wireless mouse and keyboard, wireless remote control toys, and a variety of low-power wireless RF products, CS03 (telecommunications terminal products PSTN).
