Appliance Efficiency Regulations were approved in California on June 23,2006.Electronic equipments sold in California must comply with the requirements of California Energy Commission.
 
ERP（2009/125/EC）
EU published ecodesign requirements for energy-related products directive 2009/125/EC to superseded the EUP directive 2005/32/EC in Oct. 31,2009,which directive required product bear CE mark need comply with ERP directive requirements.
The sub-directive about lighting recently should as below:
EU 194/2012:Ecodesign requirements for directional lamps, light emitting diode lamps and related equipment.
 
China Energy Label
According to energy efficiency label index requirements, all products manufacturing, selling and importing to China shall bear China Energy Efficiency Label.

MEPS Certification
Energy requirements of Australia include energy label and minimum energy efficiency standard.
 
Energy Star
EPA declared manufacturer should submit test report issued by accredited labs and approved by EPA to affix Energy Star marking. The most concern point should be the LED performance testing standard:
LM-79-08: Electrical and Photometric Measurements of Solid-State Lighting Products.
LM-80-08: Measuring Lumen Maintenance of LED Light Sources
LM-82-11: IES Approved Method for the Characterization of LED Light Engines and Integrated LED In order to speed up the testing L/T and cost saving, CSD carry out on Mar.31, 2013. The non-directional household lamps can use the luminosity testing data from CSD directly.

80PLUS
80PLUS plan is required by EPA and administered by ECOS Consulting, dedicated to energy save and award plan. 80PLUS defined more detail than Energy Star 4.0. It required energy efficiency should be larger than 80%, power factor (PF) should be larger than 0.9 and stand-by power should not exceed 1W, when computer running at 20%, 50%, 100% loading.
